Manah Valley Farmer Producer Company Limited, Bongaigaon, Assam
Manah Valley Farmer Producer Company Limited is promoted and funded by NERAMAC (IA-NER Region) in Tapattary block of Bongaigaon district of Assam and is promoted by Sheel Biotech Limited (CBBO). The key objectives of promoting MVFPCL are:
- To provide holistic and broad-based supportive ecosystem to facilitate development of vibrant and sustainable income-oriented farming and for overall socio-economic development and wellbeing of agrarian communities.
- To enhance the productivity of agricultural activities in the cluster through efficient, cost-effective and sustainable resource use and realize higher returns through better liquidity and market linkages for their produce and become sustainable through collective action.
- To provide handholding and support to MVFPCL up to 5 years from the year of creation in all aspects of management of institution, inputs, production, processing and value addition, market linkages, credit linkages and use of technology etc.
- To build capacity of board members, CEO, Accountant and progressive farmers of MVFPCL on agriculture entrepreneurship skills to become economically viable and self-sustaining beyond the period of support from government.

Initiation of input supply and aggregation and marketing of farmers produce including Joha Rice (Aromatic rice), Maize and Lentils worth Rs 2.40 Lakhs and has earned a profit of Rs. 25000 5. The FPO under Institutional Convergence initiative of CBBO has received one Custom Hiring centre worth Rs 25 lakh from Deptt. Of Agriculture, Govt. of Assam. As per the provision of the scheme, 90% of the subsidy have been provided to the FPO and FPO paid only Rs. 2 lakhs only to obtain the Custom Hiring Center 6. The FPO has generated its profile on prestigious ONDC Portal for Registration in marketing and successfully ventured into online marketing system |
